Episode 9 - OQUE?! (WHAT?) the phrase I use the MOST!

Phew what a week here in Efapi!

Here are a some RANDOM HIGHLIGHTS from this week in Brasil...

*I started to count how many times I see a cute dog. But I lost count!  There are WAY TOO many!
We were walking for about 10 minutes and my count was already at 15.

*This week we were asked about 10 times if we are married? WEIRD!

*THE STARS here are so BEAUTIFUL...they are extremely BRIGHT & CLEAR

*We get to lunch the other day and I was super Hyped...but then we were told that we were eating FISH with tiny bones. UGH.  #RIPFISH

*My companion and I always joke about OUR LIFE being like a "Charades Game" but in our game we make a lot of sounds when we don't know how to explain something.

*My companion LOVES, LOVES Justin Bieber so much. This week I broke the news to her and told her he got married and she FREAKED!  Then when I told her that he didn't marry Selena Gomez she was devastated.

*People here live in the SAME HOUSE for YEARS & YEARS and still don't know the street name or house number they live at.

*We have been teaching a lady her name is Ongina who I at first didn't think was really interested. But we visited her again and she actually stopped drinking coffee and going to her previous church.  She prayed and received an answer to her prayer and now she wants to LEARN MORE.  The church is TRUE....

*My companion randomly sings songs in English. (California Girls by the Beach Boys, song from Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and One Direction)

*I had my FIRST "TRUMP" experience....yes some guy asked me where I was from after I told him the United State he immediately asked me "Well Do YOU like Trump?"  My Response "A Blank stare, didn't know quite what to say." (and not just because I don't know Portuguese)

*Me and my companion were teaching a lesson and at the end they asked if I could give the prayer in English I felt so blessed finally a language I KNOW.

*From our bathroom window we can see a Beautiful Brazil flag I could stare at it for hours...

* I reached 2 months in the mission already (whoot-whoot)

*When it rains here which is a lot lately we get to hang out with the members most of the day.

*When had 8 people we are teaching come to church with us, it was awesome.

Scripture for the week:
1 Nephi 10:18  For he is the same yesterday, today, and forever; and the way is prepared for all men from the foundation of the world, if it so be that they repent and come unto him.

The Book is BLUE the CHURCH IS TRUE and GOD LOVES YOU!

Have a great week.
Love, Sister Sanovich
