Episode 15 - Ola tudo bem? (Hello, how are you?)

Monday - June 10, 2019
The past two weeks have been so great we have had a bunch of success and are teaching some amazing people! Including Alan he has a baptismal date for the 22 of June...he is 13 and so cool!!  We have some other awesome friends that are really progressing too! It's funny when we meet new people they always say they will be home but, when ever we try to visit them they are NEVER at home!

Last week we had a really fun activity and a bunch of members and friends we are teaching came to it  which was such a success!!  This week my companion made me an Avocado shake and it was literally AMAZING! I am not sure if its actually a thing in the states but here all the fruits and veggies are so amazing!!

Tuesday I picked up a FANTASTIC package from my family, thanks to a good friends brother who delivered it to a members house and GUESS WHAT??  It had peanut butter and some really cool things in it #blessed
My companion had never tried peanut butter before it was super fun to share that with her.

We had dinner almost everyday this week which is unusual we usually don't eat dinner but this week was a blessing!  Tuesday we stopped by a recent converts home and she made us dinner.
Wednesday we went to a pizzeria with some members because it was her birthday and it was only 15 reais for all you can eat pizza, needless to say we feasted!!!!

Then skip to Saturday it was the best day!!!! We had a BAPTISM!!!! Our friend Ivanete that was going to be baptized a month ago decided to be baptized this month and it was so great!! She is amazing and we are soooo excited for her to me a member of the Church of Jesus Christ!!! We made cake and a bunch of members came to support her! It was a success! We stopped by Burger King afterwards to celebrate! Dulce De Leite ice cream, yes please! Then there was an activity that night with members and we ate some dinner their too!!

I realized that basically my life here revolves around Food and the Gospel!
I will write a better email next week.... lol sorry but enjoy our photos!!!

Here is my quote of the week!!
Its better to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret.
This quote is so true!! when the Spirit talks to you follow the promptings! This week we had an amazing experience like this. My companion had a prompting to go to a specific home and turns our this family is looking for a true church and we are super excited for them!!

I LOVE YOU ALL! BOA SEMANA! (Have a Good Week)

The church is true, the book is blue and God loves you!
XOXO Sister Sanovich

**We didn't get to talk with Sister Sanovich on Sunday (FathersDay) because they don't celebrate Fathers Day on the same day in Brazil.  But...we did get these next 3 pictures from Jessica Feijo a SWEET MEMBER from a direct message.  Oh how we LOVE social media sometimes.  (THANK YOU so much Jessica)

Episode 13 - Bem Rapido! (VERY QUICK)

Hello Family & Friends

Everyone said how fast my mission would fly by and it is so true.  I can't believe I am already emailing again...TODAY MARKS 3 MONTHS in the mission. #saywhat?  Because this week was so extremely quick I don't have too much to write about but I will try and share a few of my favorite parts.

Tuesday:  We had District Meeting (my first one of the mission so far!)  It was Super FUN!! The District Leaders gave us some great motivation to get us through the next week.
Friday:  We set up a Family Night with a member and a sweet lady we are teaching.  We shared a message about FAITH and she was very receptive.  We also had a BUNCH of really good food.
Saturday:  Was pretty chill, literally it was SO COLD. We wear our boots and coat most of the time now.  I can't believe it's so cold here and back at home it is starting to get warm. WEIRD! Jessica our good friend came with us to a lesson and it was awesome!
Sunday:  Was AMAZING!!! The sun was out and it was warm it was much better than the rain and the cold.  We went to church and had some new investigators come so that was super cool.  Then we went to a members house to have lunch.  Sundays are the BEST!

Scripture for the week...2 Nephi 31:20
Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of HOPE, and a LOVE of God and of all men.  Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father:  Ye shall have eternal life.

I love this scripture so much if we can remember that we must continue to have FAITH, HOPE and FEAST UPON THE WORD of CHRIST.  We will have ETERNAL LIFE!  What a blessing it is to have this knowledge.

The Church is True the Book is Blue and God LOVES ALL of YOU!
Love,
Sister Sanovich
