Everyone said how fast my mission would fly by and it is so true. I can't believe I am already emailing again...TODAY MARKS 3 MONTHS in the mission. #saywhat? Because this week was so extremely quick I don't have too much to write about but I will try and share a few of my favorite parts.Tuesday: We had District Meeting (my first one of the mission so far!) It was Super FUN!! The District Leaders gave us some great motivation to get us through the next week.
Friday: We set up a Family Night with a member and a sweet lady we are teaching. We shared a message about FAITH and she was very receptive. We also had a BUNCH of really good food.
Saturday: Was pretty chill, literally it was SO COLD. We wear our boots and coat most of the time now. I can't believe it's so cold here and back at home it is starting to get warm. WEIRD! Jessica our good friend came with us to a lesson and it was awesome!
Sunday: Was AMAZING!!! The sun was out and it was warm it was much better than the rain and the cold. We went to church and had some new investigators come so that was super cool. Then we went to a members house to have lunch. Sundays are the BEST!
Scripture for the week...2 Nephi 31:20
Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of HOPE, and a LOVE of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.
I love this scripture so much if we can remember that we must continue to have FAITH, HOPE and FEAST UPON THE WORD of CHRIST. We will have ETERNAL LIFE! What a blessing it is to have this knowledge.
