The title this week means (Fica ne Boa) GOOD VIBES!
Whoa it feels like I was just emailing yesterday! The quote (days seem as if they are weeks and weeks seem as if they are days) is so true! My time here at the CTM seems to last forever but has flown by. I cant believe I am going to be out in the campo (field) next week!! I have met so many amazing people here from all over the world! I am very grateful for the experiences I have been able to have these past weeks.
Here are just a few highlights from the amazing WEEK 5!
1. E-DAYYY! (English day) lol we decided to start calling p-day e-day because we don't learn any new Portuguese and we definitely don't speak very much either. We went to the Sao Paulo Temple and it was beautiful as always. We they went to the Acessorios SUD and picked up some really great freshly baked cookies that my amazing family sent to me!! A little taste from home (YUMMY) Then my district had a volleyball tournament....my team won...YES...but it's not like we were keeping score or anything. #allwedoiswin We then had dinner which was tacos and fries... I found it appropriate to pull out the Chick-fil-a sauce that I brought with me! (thanks mom) It was a good time that's for sure and my district was SUPER excited about it as well!!
2. We had TRCs (volunteers that come to the CTM to be taught by the missionaries again with a new investigator and she accepted to be baptized! (so cool)
3. Sister D'Aquin and I were told we looked like Brazilian!!!! BIGGEST Compliment EVER... lol
4. We had amazing devotional on Sunday, we watched Elder Rasband talk about the Rome Temple. I invite you all to watch the tour of the Temple on thechurchofjesuschrist.org it is amazing, you wont regret it I promise!
5. We had a rock paper scissor March madness tournament for who would be speaking at church on Sunday.(*note from mom* who lost? did you?)
6. It was primero de abril (April fools) so all the sisters in my district decided to change our name tags for one of our classes, that was fun. #wild
THIS weekend is General Conference!!! I invite you all to pray to receive answers to your questions to prepare yourself to listen to the Apostles! I am so excited to listen and hear from the prophet and all the changes that are to come this weekend!
The church is true, The book is blue and God loves you! (and so do I) (thank you all for your love and support)
